What is a trade mark examination report?
An examination report is a letter from IP Australia setting out any issues with your trade mark application. Common objections include that the mark is not distinctive enough (section 41) or that it conflicts with an existing trade mark (section 44). How long does the review take?
We typically review your report and respond within 1 business day. We'll send you an email setting out your options, our recommended approach, and any applicable fees.
What happens after the review?
We'll email you with a clear summary of the issues raised, your options for responding, and a fixed-fee quote if you'd like us to prepare a response on your behalf. There's no obligation to proceed.
Do I have to use Markster after the review?

What file formats do you accept?
